Hytale Patch Notes - Update 4

New Features

This update brings exciting new features to the game, including new blocks and proximity voice chat.

• Blocks
  • Over 500 new blocks have been added, with around half available for crafting and the other half accessible via the Creative Inventory.
  • New block sets include Limestone, Slate, Chalk, and Cooled Magma, as well as stair and half slabs for various materials.
• Proximity Voice Chat
  • Proximity Voice Chat allows players to communicate with each other in-game, with voice chat disabled by default and configurable via the Audio Settings menu.
  • Voice chat can be toggled on or off with a keybinding, and players can modify their audio preferences, including input device and noise suppression.

Game Improvements

The update also includes various game improvements, including new console commands and social features.

• Console Commands
  • New console commands have been added for client and server, allowing for greater control over Proximity Voice Chat.
• Social Features
  • Players can now see who is communicating within range, and talking will animate their Avatar.
  • Individual players can be muted via the server player list, and voice chat settings can be configured by server operators.
